Midwest Birding Symposium & Photo ID Contest

Well, I'm on my way to the Midwest Birding Symposium right now, where I will carry out my duties as one of the Official Bloggers.  I am anxious and nervous about meeting some of my birding heroes and other guests.  Will I find any fans of Birding is Fun!? And I'm hopeful that I'll enjoy seeing a few birds I've never seen before.  I'll try to share a couple blog posts here while I am there and I'm sure they'll be a few posts after the event.

I will also be Tweeting live from the events and presentations I attend.  An easy way to follow Tweets from the Midwest Birding Symposium is to enter the hashtag #MidwestBirding into the Twitter search box as shown here (or just click on the link which I've set up for your convenience):

Google+ (Google Plus) is another new social media venue that I will use to share my Midwest Birding Symposium experience.  If you are a member of Google+, here is a link to my profile so that you can add me to your Birding circle.  If you are not a member of Google+, but would like to be, send me an email and I will invite you.

So, while I am flying over the midwest, I figured I'd give you you all something hard to do.  Why don't you give this Bird Photo ID Contest a try?!  The first person to identify all the species correctly can have their choice of either The Atlas of Birds or The Birds of New Jersey.  Enjoy!

You can click on the photos to enlarge them for more detail.  Reviewing past blog posts may also give you clues to some of the birds, but others I have not posted about yet.  Each photo should have enough clues for you to make a positive identification.

I have disabled comments on this particular post so that you can't "cheat" off other people's guesses.  Please number and email me your best educated guesses!
