Easter Feeder Birds

What a beautiful Easter Morning.  It is just as it should be!  We enjoyed several birds in our backyard this morning and I photographed a few of them through my binoculars, thus the strange black ringed edges.

Goldfinches: males and females in various stages of molt.

Northern Flicker (Red-shafted):  I just love his red whiskers.  A couple shots he's stretching out his wings. I particularly like the eyes-closed shot:




House Finch:  A plain, yet handsome female.

Mourning Doves: basking in the sunshine, strutting around in the yard, one bull male was attempted to mount all the other doves.
